Addendum: How This Website Currently Handles Information

The sections above describe what we may do. This addendum describes what the Website does today.

  • Problem briefs. When you submit a request, we store what you enter: your name, email, company, the description of your problem, and any optional answers.
  • Uploaded files. Files you attach to a brief are stored privately and encrypted in Amazon Web Services in the United States, are accessible only to Advanced Foundry Tech personnel working on your request, are not used to train AI models, and are deleted automatically 180 days after upload, or sooner on request. See our Security page.
  • Anonymous Solution Finder counts. When someone completes the Solution Finder we add one to a counter for that path. We store only the count and the date it last changed, not who made the selection, their IP address, or any identifier.
  • No cookies or third-party scripts. The Website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Our fonts are hosted on our own servers.
  • Service providers. We use Amazon Web Services to host the Website and store data, and Google Workspace for email. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the service running and secure.
